Description
Deep gorges, dramatic rock formations and waterfalls are just a few of the features of the Kimberley in the far north western corner of Australia
The Kimberley has something for everyone from mountain ranges, gorges and waterfalls, to beaches, fishing spots and spectacular scenery. In this video you can join a convoy to visit the many highlights that the Kimberley has to offer.
This video begins in Kununurra, from where the travellers head west. First the group crossed the Ord River at Ivanhoe Crossing, and then visited Parrys Lagoon and the port of Wyndham. From there the group headed along the Gibb River Road, first visiting El Questro Station. The group headed north to see the magnificent Mitchell Falls, Kalumburu and Honeymoon Bay.
There were many other highlights including Bell Gorge, Manning Gorge and Mornington Wilderness Camp where canoeing on the mighty Fitzroy River through Dimond Gorge was great fun. The group completed their trip at Fitzroy Crossing after visiting Geikie Gorge, Windjana Gorge and the surprising environment of Tunnel Creek.
But there is more to the Kimberley and extra chapters are included in the DVD. These feature the townships of Broome and Derby and the stunning scenery and natural features of Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungle Range.
We have a brand new video Colours of the Kimberley. This video will be available at this special price until the end of February.
